Fund Raising Day for Battersea Park Children’s Zoo

Children at Christ Church and Holy Trinity Schools raised funds for Battersea Park Children’s zoo, a place that has been very dear to many of our families for many years.

The Zoo has experienced a huge financial loss during its closure and many areas and educational facilities are at risk of being permanently closed without our help.

Miss Emily from Holy Trinity, who used to work at Battersea Zoo, showed the children educational films, and dissected owl pellets with Y5 and Y6 children.

For our fundraiser, children came to school in their animal themed clothes!  The children really got into the spirit of the day with some fantastic animal outfits!
