Internet Safety

You will be using the computer to help you with your learning more than usual while we are learning from home so please be sure to take extra care that children are looking at only appropriate materials and with adult guidance.

Please highlight to your children the importance of staying safe online.

Remind them that they should always talk to an adult if they see something that worries them.

Have a look together at our online safety poster.

The BBC OWNIT Website is great for teaching children about internet safety and they now have an app: https://www.bbc.com/ownit

This Primary Parents help sheet and article (please see the Think You Know Primary Parents link button below)  sets out things you can do to help keep your child safe.

Reporting concerns: The Click CEOP link can be used to report (or get advice about) anything online that worries you. CEOP is part of the National Crime Agency and it works to protect children from harm.
